Blog: 2022
I can hardly believe I’m saying it already, but the end of 2022 is upon us! We relaunched our website and returned to Twitter after a lengthy hiatus back in October. Looking back, 2022 has been a really busy year for us, both in our personal lives and for Kinoko and friends.
We’ve been slowly working our way through our roster of characters, giving them fully-fledged biographies. Those biographies can take a while to get through, and so today we decided we’d introduce ten kuparkukes we’re excited about, but who aren’t exactly first in line for their own pages.
It’s been two full months now since we got ourselves back on Twitter and relaunched our website. In our first blog post, we talked a bit about our big real-life move, Kinoko’s new name, and some of our short-term plans. We also mentioned that we have a much bigger project in the works.
This week, we want to use our blog to talk a little more about Galaxy and Blackhole. Specifically, we’ll be going into more detail on their origins, what precisely it is that connects the two of them, and what roles you can expect them to play in our stories going forward.
Kuparkukes have been in the works for a long time. Chelsey first created Kinoko in 2011, and others soon followed in 2013. Over the last eleven years, we’ve had a lot of time to think about this species: how they live, what they do, and so on. This week, we want to talk about kuparkuke colours!
We’re back, and we’ve renamed ourselves to ‘Cult of Galaxy’. The reasons behind this will soon become clear. For now, know that we’re back and that we mean business. After lots of thinking and rethinking, we’re ready to take our project in a bold new direction. Let us reintroduce ourselves.
