Moonie is an in-universe fictional character, and the titular hero of the ‘Bovine Excision’ franchise.

Originally a young calf from planet Earth, Moonie was abducted by a UFO and taken into outer space. There, her alien captors subjected her to a series of gruelling scientific experiments, which caused her to develop unnatural abilities (and also turn green for some reason). With her new strengths at her disposal, it was then up to Moonie to free her fellow bovine abductees, get revenge on the aliens who tortured her, escape her UFO prison, and return home to her family!

Though the Moonie video game franchise is now rather old and outdated, the character remains popular with retro video gaming enthusiasts. Moonie’s original classic game, ‘Bovine Excision’, can be played at the Star Lounge arcade bar in Starlight City.
