Checkers and Draughts

The fugitives Checkers and Draughts are a pair of notorious thieves, originally from the planet Astradeia.

Together, they’ve been at large across the Milky Way Galaxy for half a century, always eluding capture and justice – and in the process, they’ve earned themselves an enviable reputation as the galaxy’s most successful thieves. Checkers is the brains of the outfit, who plans each heist with pinpoint precision. Draughts is the brawn, who handles the muscle work with unmatched skill and smouldering looks.

In recent times they’ve become affiliated with the retired business tycoon Franz Goldsmith, who pays them very well indeed for their services – though, for what nefarious purposes, no one knows.
