Arboreum is a planet in the Milky Way Galaxy.

This magical planet, known for its serene beauty and for being one of the safest places in the galaxy, is home to thousands upon thousands of species, many of them sentient. It’s therefore impossible to call any one species the dominant people of Arboreum. Magical beings of all shapes and sizes make their home here, from the graceful unicorns and the bookish harpies, to the mischevious pixies and the elegant fairies. Nobody rules Arboreum, exactly, but a humble being known as the Fairy-Queen serves as its protector and mother figure.

Arboreum is open to everyone, especially those fleeing danger or persecution on their home planets. It is a large planet, with plenty of room to spare, and it is kept safe from the troubles of the greater galaxy by the Fairy-Queen’s magical, unbreakable barriers. These barriers have enabled Arboreum to remain free, even whilst the planets around it have largely all fallen to the Orion Corporation.

Arboreum has four natural satellites. Each one orbits Arboreum at the same distance and pace in such a way that, at any one time, each moon represents one of the four temperate seasons, depending on its position in space, relative to Arboreum’s host star. One will always be in spring, one will be in summer, one will be in autumn, and one will be in winter. All four can sustain life.
