Milky Way Galaxy

The Milky Way Galaxy is the barred spiral galaxy in which all the events of Kinoko and the Cult of Galaxy take place.
Like all other galaxies, it was created by the universe’s creator-god (also conveniently named Galaxy) prior to her destruction at the tendrils of her fallen first star, Blackhole.
Much of the galaxy’s Perseus Arm has been consumed by Blackhole, leaving behind drifting clusters of rogue stars which once called the Milky Way home, but which are now gravitionally-bound to no galaxy.
Political control of the Milky Way Galaxy is currently divided between many factions, some great and some small. The largest of these is the Orion Corporation, which is centred primarily on the galaxy’s Orion-Cygnus Arm. At this time, vast swathes of the Milky Way Galaxy still remain uncontacted or undiscovered.
Its closest neighbour is the Andromeda Galaxy.
